🎨 Grades 1–2 Little Creators Art Club: Imagination in Action!

Our youngest artists will dive into colorful, hands-on projects that spark creativity and confidence! Each week and day features a new theme—from whimsical creatures and kindness rocks to snowy storybook scenes. Kids will explore paint, clay, collage, and more while learning to express themselves through art. It’s all about having fun, trying new materials, and bringing their imagination to life!

🎨 November Theme

Wednesdays (Grades 1–2): “Whimsical Wonders”

• Nov 5 – Fall Forest Friends: Create woodland animals using a variety of materials.

• Nov 12 – Magical Houses: Build fairy or critter homes using recycled materials and nature finds.

• Nov 19 – Thankful Hands: Mixed-media gratitude trees with handprint leaves.

• Nov 26 – No class (Thanksgiving week)

🚍 Transportation Details

Our studio partners with the Avon School Transportation Department to provide limited busing from the school to the studio for Art Club participants. Please note that space is limited — once the allotted number of bus spots is filled, families will need to arrange their own transportation. All children must be picked up at the studio at the end of class. We will coordinate directly with the school and transportation department to ensure a safe and smooth process.

🍎 A light snack will be provided when students arrive at the studio before class begins. Please let us know of any allergies or dietary restrictions so we can accommodate safely.

Class Time: 4:00 PM – 5:15 PM

All children must be picked up promptly at 5:15 PM at the studio.

📅 Avon Heritage Students:

If your child attends Avon Heritage and you’d like them to stay during this time, please check our event calendar for available options and extended sessions.

💡 Parent Notes

• Dress for mess — creativity can get a little colorful! We do offer aprons; however, you are welcome to send an art shirt

• Please label coats, water bottles, and personal items.

• If someone other than a parent/guardian will be picking up, please let us know in advance.
